General Terms and Conditions – Berghaus Weissbriach

Welcome to Berghaus Weissbriach!
We are pleased that you would like to stay with us. Below you will find our general terms and conditions. These are intended to provide mutual clarity and to make a pleasant stay possible for everyone.
By making a reservation you agree to these conditions.
📅 Reservation
- These conditions apply to all reservations. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by Berghaus Weissbriach .
- Reservations are possible for persons aged 18 and over.
- The main booker is responsible for the reservation and for compliance with these conditions by all fellow travelers.
💳 Confirmation and payment
- You will receive a confirmation by email within 7 days of booking.
- A deposit of 20% of the rental amount must be paid within 10 days of confirmation.
- The remaining amount must be paid no later than 4 weeks before arrival.
- For reservations made within 4 weeks prior to arrival, the full rental amount is due immediately.
- In case of non-payment we reserve the right to cancel the reservation; the cancellation conditions will remain in force.
- After (down)payment you will receive a payment confirmation by email within 10 days.
❌ Cancellation by the guest
- Cancellation can be done by phone or email. You will receive written confirmation of this within 7 days.
- Cancellation Policy:
- Up to 4 weeks before arrival: free of charge; deposit will be fully refunded.
- Within 4 weeks before arrival or in case of no-show: no refund
- If you propose a replacement guest for the same period, we will try to make a free change possible in consultation.
- We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
🏠 Cancellation by Berghaus Weissbriach
If we are forced to cancel your reservation, you will be informed immediately. If possible, we will offer an equivalent alternative. If this is not possible or you do not wish this, you will receive the full amount back. Further liability is excluded.
🔁 Changes by the guest
- Changes (e.g. travel dates, guests) can be made free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival, subject to availability.
- If the desired change is not possible, the standard cancellation conditions remain in effect.
- If your stay is shortened, no refund will be made.
🔑 Arrival and departure
- Check-in: between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM
- Check-out: no later than 10:00 am
- Any outstanding amounts (such as tourist tax or extra options) must be paid in cash before departure. (There is an ATM in the village)
💡 Pets and other house rules
Pets
- Pets are only allowed after prior consultation and written permission.
- Maximum 1 pet per apartment; exceptions upon consultation.
- Surcharge €8.00 per night.
- No pets on couches or beds.
- On a leash in common areas and the garden.
- Do not leave your pet alone in the apartment.
- Do not let your pet do its business in the garden or directly around the house. There are sufficient outlets in the immediate vicinity. If something does happen, we kindly ask you to clean it up immediately.
- Damage and nuisance may be charged.
Other house rules
For a pleasant stay we ask you to treat the apartment, the inventory and the common areas with care. More information can be found in the document "house rules".
💰 Tourist tax
Tourist tax is not included in the rental price. This is calculated separately per person per night according to the applicable rates of the municipality and must be paid in cash before departure.
🧾 Borg
For certain reservations or when staying with pets, we reserve the right to ask for a deposit upon arrival. This will be refunded within 7 days after departure, provided there are no damages or extra cleaning costs.
🛠️ Guest liability
- As a tenant, you are responsible for the accommodation, inventory and common areas.
- Any damage or loss caused by you, your fellow travelers or pet(s) must be reported immediately.
- Additional costs resulting from damage or outstanding amounts will be borne by the main booker.
- The number of people on the booking confirmation is the maximum number of guests allowed.
🚫 Liability of Berghaus Weissbriach
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or inconvenience caused by force majeure or unforeseen circumstances (such as power outages, weather conditions or construction work in the area).
- Errors or obvious mistakes in information or prices are not binding.
- We will do everything we can to resolve any disruptions or defects as quickly as possible.
🌐 WiFi / WLAN
- WiFi is available free of charge. Due to our location in the mountains, speed and stability may vary. We do our best to provide a stable connection, but cannot guarantee this.
- Use of the network for illegal activities is prohibited.
🔒 Privacy & Data Processing
Your data will be used for reservation and payment purposes and legal obligations (such as registration with local authorities). For a detailed explanation, please refer to the document “Privacy Statement”.
⚖️ Applicable law
All our reservations are subject to Austrian law. Any disputes will be settled by the competent court in Austria.
